Befana at Villa Borghese.
6 Jan 2004. In the Italian tradition 6 Jan (Epiphany) marks the arrival of "La Befana", a hag that leaves gifts in the stockings of good children and coal for naughty ones. Kids can celebrate at Villa Borghese with games, music and magic shows, 11.00-16.30. There will also be a workshop to make the world's longest stocking out of pieces of jute decorated by the children. Participation is free but registration is necessary on tel. 0697840700. Children are invited to bring used toys in good condition to be donated to charity.
