23-25 Nov 2006. In Jue for RomaEuropa Festival. The leading dancer and choreographer at the Beijing Modern Dance Company, Gao Yanjinzi performs alongside her mother Luo Lili in Jue, a show in which tradition and modernity as well the generation of the cultural revolution and that of contemporary China are brought together. The outcome is also the confrontation of two languages of dance: from rigid academic discipline to the conquest of expressive freedom. The music score has been specifically composed by Liu Sola, the new enfant terrible of the Chinese and international music scene.
