The title of the exhibition is actually a quote from the autobiography of the controversial and groundbreaking Italian actor and stage director Carmelo Bene in which he wrote: "Blessed Photo!" recalling the time when he was acquitted of slander thanks to the photographs of Claudio Abate.
Ten years from his death, this exhibition of some 120 photographs by Abate celebrate his personality and his theatre.
