With more than 120 invited authors from around the world, the festival is once again transforming Berlin into a locus for poetry and literary discourse.?No small part is played by the Berlin public, consisting of avid readers who make it impossible to imagine Berlins cultural life without international literature. One may find between 30 and 40 literary events taking place in a single evening, underling the importance of this deep-rooted literary network to the success of the city's International Literature Festival.
