15 Nov-14 March 2010. Giovanni Boldini (1842-1931) was one of the most prominent Italian artists of the late 19th century. Born in Ferrara, he moved to Paris in 1871, where he lived for the rest of his life. The exhibition focuses on his work from the beginning of the 1870s to the mid 1880s, and reflects the influence of his contemporaries: Degas, Manet, Caillebotte, Meissonier and Fortuny.
