20 Feb. Dutch graphic designer Irma Boom, known as “The Queen of Books,” discusses her collaborations with artists and architects with MAXXI artistic drirector Hou Hanru.
All at once a designer, editor and art director, Boom is considered one of the world’s foremost book designers, and 50 of her books are part of the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. She is currently Designer-in-Residence at the American Academy in Rome.
