31 July. In Naji. For Bolzano Danza. This work is a co-production of the Ramallah Contemporary Dance Festival and the Italian hip-hop group Botega. The festival, which is supported by the European Commission, the Palestinian Authority, UNESCO and others, promotes arts and culture in support of Palestinian political and national goals. The Ramallah festival takes place under Masahat, a Lebanese organisation that works to establish a dance network in neighbouring countries, so there are similar concurrent events in Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. Botega comprises seven talented dancers who bring plenty of energy and social commitment to their work.
