Brendan Behan party in Rome
The Fiddler's Elbow, Rome's oldest Irish pub, presents Brendan Behan's Party on Saturday 9 February at 18.00. The event includes readings from the works of Behan, on the date of his birth, and will be introduced by Prof. Enrico Terrinoni.
Poet, novelist, playwright, hell-raiser, rogue: these are just some of the caps worn by the colourful Dublin character who described himself once as "a drinker with a writing problem".
