Bruno Canova: La memoria di chi non dimentica
The exhibition presents a selection of drawings, paintings, bas-reliefs by the late Bolognese painter and graphic artist Bruno Canova (1925-2012).
The exhibited pieces are dedicated to the dramatic events of world war two and the political decisions and events that preceded it.
The works, which were created mainly between the 1960s and 1970s, contain elements of posters, newspaper clippings and original documents.
The show is designed to highlight the artist's importance and is curated by Maurizio Calvesi, one of the leading historians of modern art history in Italy.
