Buddhist sculpture in Japan
The Japanese Cultural Institute presents an exhibition of 30 photographs depicting Japan’s ancient statues and sculptures dedicated to Buddha. The exhibition highlights the five traditional styles of Buddha statues in Japan and the varying materials used in their creation. Curated by the Japanese Cultural Institute, the photographs are accompanied by the screening of two short films on the subject.
