Busy day at Rome Film Festival
Spandau Ballet, Gone Girl, and Walter Salles
There is plenty of action on Monday 20 October at the ninth edition of the Rome Film Festival which is based at the Auditorium Parco della Musica until 25 October.
On the red carpet at 19.30 are the members of the iconic 1980s band Spandau Ballet at the festival to present Spandau Ballet: The Movie – Soul Boys of the Western World by George Hencken.
There is also the screening of Gone Girl, the new film by Oscar-winning movie director and House of Cards producer David Fincher, at 19.45.
Meanwhile Walter Salles will receive the Marc’Aurelio Lifetime Achievement Award and present the work-in-progress of his new film on Jia Zhangke, during which both filmmakers will meet the public.
