On the run for a grizzly crime, two mysterious young women seek shelter at a small English seaside town.
Clara (Gemma Arterton) is a fiercely modern woman while Eleanor (Saoirse Ronan) is a shy and innocent but rebellious teenager.
They both hide secrets spanning two centuries and must face challenges that will change their lives forever.
