From 10-16 June, cinema buffs in Rome can enjoy a selection of 20 films screened recently at the 67th Cannes Film Festival in France.
The 18th edition of the Le Vie del Cinema da Cannes a Roma is held in four Roman cinemas and will feature a selection of the best movies from Cannes.
Highlights include Winter Sleep by Turkish director Nuri Bilge Ceylan; Mommy by young Canadian director Xavier Dolan; Jimmy's Hall by veteran British director Ken Loach; and a restored version of The Texas Chainsaw Massacre on its 40th anniversary.
All films are screened in their original language version with Italian subtitles. Full-price tickets cost €7, while university students and those over 60 pay €6.
