14 July-2 Aug. Valentina Carrasco's interpretation of Bizet's opera Carmen returns to the Baths of Caracalla as part of the 2018 summer season of Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.
Argentinian director Carrasco moved the setting from Spain to the border between Mexico and the United States where the story unfolds in a modern-day setting in a cigarette factory close to the wall across the frontier.
