25 Feb-6 March 2005. The 23rd Catalan book week runs simultaneously in both Lleida and Barcelona. Activities for people of all ages, including story telling, poetry readings and discussions. Catalan Book Week is a showcase for the latest Catalan language book releases with many of the authors on hand to sign for their readers. A programme of activities for children aimed at promoting reading among the young is considered important in this years calendar by the organisers. Catalan book week takes place at the Consorci de Biblioteques de Barcelona in cooperation with libraries, bookshops and publishing houses from all over Barcelona and Catalonia.
