Celtic Ball
The Irish Club of Rome is toasting St Patrick twice this year by holding the Celtic Ball — Rome's biggest annual party for the Irish and friends of Ireland — the weekend after St Patrick's Day, to avoid a clash with the Ireland-Italy Six Nations rugby match in Rome on 16 March.
The 22nd edition of the annual black-tie event takes place on Saturday 23 March at the five-star Grand Hotel Parco dei Principi near Villa Borghese.
The evening starts with a prosecco reception, followed by a five-course meal accompanied by traditional Irish musicians. The €85 ticket price includes dinner, drinks and a performance by The Swing Pistols that is guaranteed to keep revellers dancing late into the night.
For ticket information and to reserve your place email irishclubofrome@gmail.com, tel. 3335729081 or contact the club through its Facebook page.
