Chagall at Ara Pacis
22 December 2010-27 March 2011. After the great success at the National Museum Marc Chagall in Nice this extraordinary exhibition, entitled The World Upside Down, arrives in Rome and pays tribute to Marc Chagall, the great Russian-born, Jewish and French naturalized painter (1887-1985) 25 years after his death.
On display are about 140 paintings and drawings from private collections which have not been seen before, as well as from the National Museum of Modern Art Georges Pompidou and the National Museum Marc Chagall of Nice.
