Charles Lambert book presentation in Rome
18 Oct. The Almost Corner Bookshop in Trastevere hosts a presentation of Prodigal by Rome-based author Charles Lambert, on Thursday 18 October, from 18.30.
Lambert's tale follows the emotionally-fraught journey of the hapless Jeremy Eldritch who ekes out a living in Paris by writing soft-core pornography under a saucy pseudonym, before returning reluctantly to the English countryside on hearing of his father's impending death.
Born in England, Lambert is the author of several novels and has lived in central Italy since 1980.
