19 Dec. St Stephen's School of Rome is holding a fundraising "Christmas Concert for Syrian Children" on 19 December at 19.00.
The concert, which takes place at the main auditorium of the high school on Via Aventina 3, is open to everyone and tickets cost €30.
As the event is sponsored by a corporate donor, organisers say that every cent of the funds raised will go towards helping Syrian children affected by their country's ongoing conflict.
The evening begins with a wine and cheese reception, and the concert programme features Christmas classics adapted for the guitar and cello.
Among the performers are the celebrated cello and violin duo Christof and Reik Unterberger, as well as a special surprise guest on piano.
For more details see the concert website or check out its Facebook page.
