This exhibition by Clarke and McDevitt Present marks the reopening of the Hugh Lane Gallery with a programme of contemporary art shows running until late in the year before the official and final reopening in March 2006. The exhibition curated by the Presents is organised to provide work spaces to invited artists who will produce artworks as a repose to the gallery's own collection and the Francis Bacon Studio. The latter is a innovative museum installation piece that incorporates interrogation into the artistic process. Artists such as Matt Calderwood, Bjorn Dahlem, Ian Kiaer, Cornelius Quabeck and Sophie von Hellermann will be taking part filling their allotted gallery space with their own artistic reaction to the settings.
