This flamenco evening, titled Poeta en Nueva York, is based on a text by Garcia Lorca. Amargo is heralded as the new name of flamenco. He comes from a pure tradition, having studied under Luisillo and danced in the companies of Antonio Canales and Mario Maya, but he is also versed in other schools and genres.
