Piazza S. Ignazio is once again hosting the annual series of concerts by military bands. In line to play are the bands of the prison wardens (11 July), the air force (12 July) and the tax and customs inspectors (13 July). As a finale, there will be a combined concert by all the military bands (14 July). Concerts begin at 21.00 and they are free. Piazza S. Ignazio (between the Pantheon and Piazza Montecitorio). There will be also be concerts in the courtyard of Palazzo dei Conservatori at the Capitoline museums on 14 and 21 July.

Music for the concerts reflects various historical moments around the Mediterranean, with particular attention on Rome during the baroque period.

The titles of the concerts are as follows. Aphrodite monodramma di costumi antichi (14 July) and Il Pianoforte della Nuova Europa (21 July).
