"20 Eventi - Arte Mater", a contemporary art exhibition, will be held during the week-ends between 3-25 June, in the heart of Sabinas (Rieti) ancient quarters.

Giuseppe Penone, who teaches at the renowned art academy Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris will be presenting the works of his young artists.

Works by the resident artists from the French Academy in Villa Medici (Rome) will also be on display.

Since ancient Roman times, the Sabina area has been a cradle for culture. This is reflected in the numerous archeological sites and splendid urban centres. Nowadays, it also offers a wide choice of agriturismi to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

One of the aims of this exhibition is to unite contemporary art with the traditional rural culture of the area with the installation of art pieces throughout the region.
