21-24 April 2005. The Sustainable Living Festival aims to reawaken the underlying links between the society, the economy and our environment, as well as while recreating a healthy balance between people and the earth. Now in its fifth edition the festival brings together positive thinking people from all walks of life all geared towards the goal of sustainability. Taking place in Dublins famous Temple Bar district, a haven for the arts and alternative culture, visitors can find out about the ideas for moving to a greener society. The theme of this years festival is Building healthy communities involving a series of events covering such aspects of sustainability as nutrition, eco-tourism, renewable energy, urban regeneration and recycling as well as newer things like slow food. There are workshops on a range of subjects and dont forget to take your pick of the organic fruits and veggies are on sale.
