19 May-17 Sept. The Galleria Nazionale presents a selection of works from the ”la Caixa" collection of contemporary art, which was founded in 1985 by Spain's ”la Caixa" banking foundation and now comprising more than 900 pieces.
The works on display are by a diverse group of international artists including Fernanda Fragateiro, Donald Judd, Agnes Martin, Juan Muñoz, Joan Hernández Pijuan, Doris Salcedo, Julião Sarmento, Thomas Schütte, Richard Serra, Jana Sterbak, Antoni Tàpies, Ignacio Uriarte, and Rachel Whiteread.
