18 Sept. The Rome-based Peter Pan Onlus association, which provides support for families with children suffering from cancer, is holding its annual Peter Pan marathon on Sunday 18 September at the Villa Pamphilj park.
Now in its 18th edition, this year’s event is open to individuals and groups, as well as dogs, and there are two runs: a 4.2-km non-competitive run for adults at 10.00, and children's races (aged under 11) at 11.30.
The event is always a fun day out for all the family, and is particularly geared towards kids, but more importantly the funds raised will go towards sustaining the Casa di Peter Pan in Trastevere.
Participants are asked to meet at 09.00 on 18 September at the "Punto Jogging" area of Villa Pamphilj in Piazzetta del Bel Respiro (Via Vitellia, corner Via Olimpica).
