10 May 2007. In Bernarda Alba, choreography by Mvula Sungani. Based on The House of Bernarda Alba by Garcia Lorca, the young Italian choreographer of South African origin has woven his tale around the music of three very different composers: the baroque music of Bach, the traditional southern Italian Canzoniere Grecabuci Salentino, and the contemporary sound of Ennio Morricone. His young company is splendidly led by Emanuela Bianchini.
