18 Nov-22 Dec. Rome's White Noise Gallery presents Stessa spiaggia stesso mare, an exhibition by Cristiano Carotti, a young Rome-based visual artist who alternates between painting, sculpture, installation and video. 
Curated by Eleonora Aloise and Carlo Maria Lolli Ghetti, Carotti's latest exhibition represents a reflection on the Mediterranean and the ongoing migration crisis associated with the sea.

The exhibition includes a pedalo, a popular Italian symbol of carefree holidays, which Carotti has militarised to render it a clumsy and ridiculous instrument of those who get swept up by the specious, misguided fear of migrants seeking a better life.
