Over 200 works, including oil paintings, drawings, sculptures, design objects, films, costumes, music and documents, illustrate the art movement founded by Picasso and Braque between 1907 and 1914. The movement spread like wildfire in thst period, influencing artists across Europe and the United States. On display are works by Picasso, Gris, Braque, Leger, Gleizes, Metzinger, Hartley, Rivera, Goncharova, Severini, Soffici, Lewis, Vanessa Bell and many others. The exhibition examines Cubism not only as a modern artistic style, but also as a new paradigm for a changing world, as a revolutionary language capable of transforming not only painting, but also architecture, literature, theatre, music, cinema, design, décor and fashion. 09-30-19.30.
