Czech Fundamental
27 May-19 July. Exhibition documenting the journey of Czech photography, from the avant-garde 1920s up to the work of contemporary photographers. The first section of the exhibition is dedicated to movements such as Constructivism and New Objectivity, from 1920 to 1945.
The second section covers the post-war years up to 1970, including Minimalism and Surrealism, while the final section spans the period from 1970 to today, covering studio photography and postmodernism as well as the New Experimentation movement of the 1990s.
