Museo di Zoologia displays the exhibition, Dai più piccoli ai più grandi, of the wonders of the seas. On display are a series of images by the famous marine photographer Alberto Muro Pelliconi, which document the marine world and the submarine life in some unexplored corners of the Indian and Pacific Oceans.
Visitors are taken through a breathtaking immersion into the depths of the seas to discover the extraordinary inhabitants (large and small) of the coral reefs. In these complex environments Muro Pelliconi immortalises all sorts of species: from hardly visible organisms, such as tiny seahorses swimming among corals, to enormous, well-known marine animals, such as whale sharks.
This courageous underwater photographer brings viewers some of the thrills he experienced during his underwater expeditions.
In recent years, thanks to the indispensable help of marine photography, interesting discoveries have been made in the field of biological research
