13 Sept. A cultural evening to raise funds for Rome’s Centro Baobab, which offers assistance to hundreds of refugees, takes place at Casa della Pace in Testaccio on 13 September at 21.00.

The evening of art, music and dance is a chance for Rome residents to show their solidarity with refugees fleeing from hunger, poverty, war, disease and violence.

The evening will also be an opportunity to make financial donations from €5 upwards, or bring along basic necessities such as jam, onions, tuna, canned vegetables and pasta, as well as forks, plates, plastic cups, toothpaste and toothbrushes, disposable razors, washing-up liquid, bottles of natural water, kitchen paper and toilet rolls, wipes and disposable gloves.
