26-28 Oct. "Dear George: Letters to the President" will be the opening production at The (not only) English Theatre this season. Throughout October "Letters to the President" will be presented in 25 theatres across the United States in the run-up to the elections on 2 Nov. The performance piece is a compilation of Americans' open letters to President George W. Bush during this election year. The letters come from all 50 states, plus Washington DC, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, as well as from Americans overseas. They cover a wide range of opinions on every major issue including the war in Iraq, the economy, gay marriage and 9/11.
