Don Carlo by Giuseppe Verdi
Verdi’s opera will be performed in its 1884 Italian version with the production by Stephane Braunschweig inaugurated in Japan in 2008. It is conducted by Fabio Luisi, with Rene Pape in the role of Philip II of Spain and Martina Serafin as his wife Elisabeth.
