Effetto Notte at Villa Borghese
30 June-7 Sept. The summer festival at Rome's Casa del Cinema in Villa Borghese is both outdoor and free, and the Effetto Notte programme comprises 70 screenings.
The films are a mix of Italian and international, and genres include fantasy, Shakespeare, tributes to Truffaut and Hitchcock, and Italian classics.
In the case of rain the films will be shown in the cinema's Sala Deluxe. For programme details see website.
