Emergenza Darfur.
20 June-6 July 2005. The inauguration of the exhibition coincides with the UNHCR World Refugee Day. It consists of a vast number of artworks that have been donated to be auctioned for charity. Proceeds will go to a UNHCR project for refugees of the conflict-ridden Sudanese region of Darfur, home to what has been described as the gravest humanitarian crisis of the moment. There are works by Carla Accardi, Emilio Greco, Renato Guttuso, Giacomo Manz, Igor Mitoraj, Mimmo Paladino, Arnaldo Pomodoro.
