Community theatre auditions for the English Theatre of Rome's upcoming shows will be held on Saturday 7 March from 15.00-19.00 at a central location near Termini station.

The theatre company is casting three projects: Frozen to be directed by Doug Dean, slated for early May; Sordid Lives to be directed by Gaby Ford, dates to be defined; and the theatre's annual original monologue night scheduled for June.

Those interested in auditioning should contact the theatre by email with a half-hour slot that suits them best, (first response: first served). The theatre will then confirm appointment with location. Prepare a 1-3 minute monologue (from a show, prose, poem or rant) and be ready to “cold read” segments of the play.

Those interested in participating in the original monologue show and getting help in developing their own monologue, are asked to bring an idea of a monologue based around the theme “Where there is a will, there is a way”.
