4-27 Feb 2006. In its second edition, this festival presents a programme featuring different forms of experimentation in contemporary dance. A number of internationally known choreographers and their companies are on stage with some up-and-coming names like the Italian groups MK and Habill deau and the French artists Mathurin Bolze and Jean-Baptiste Andr. Following last years successful formula, the festival opens with an inauguration in which every nook and cranny of the Parco della Musica becomes host to performances and installations. An important section is dedicated to video with a video installation by the French artist Pierrick Sorin, while videos and dance films are projected in the Auditorium foyer. After the inauguration on 4 Feb, the programme continues with the show Lazy Susan, choreography by Tatiana Baganova (6, 7 Feb) and with Real Madrid by the MK company (10, 11 Feb). Coming names to look for are those of Shen Wei and Constanza Macras.
