14 June-10 Sept. The multi-ethnic music returns to Rome for a second year, providing a diverse range of world music and culture at the Città dell'Altra Economia.

The vast line-up kicks off with none other than the Godmother of Punk herself, Patti Smith (14 June), and continues during June with artists such as Einsturzende Neubauten (25 June) and Jimmy Cliff (28 June).

The main action takes place in July with the programme including The Fratellis (3 July), Modena City Ramblers (12 July), Goran Bregović (14 July), Nneka (21 July), The Kooks (23 July) and Shaggy (26 July), as well as George Clinton Parliament Funkadelic on 1 August and Carmen Consoli on 10 September.

In addition to music there are ethnic food stalls, a skateboard park, and numerous special events. Doors open 20.00, concerts begin at 22.00.
