Giacinto Cerone. Il massimo dell’orizzontale. On the tenth anniversary of the death of Giacinto Cerone (1957-2004), MACRO celebrates one of Italy's greatest artists of the late 20th century, from 7 May-14 Sept. The exhibition is dedicated to Cerone's works on paper and comprises over 30 drawings, many of them never displayed before, from public and private collections.

Running in parallel with Cerone's exhibition is a show entitled Global Exchange: Astrazione geometrica dal 1950. Curated by Joe Houston, the exhibition comprises 50 geometric abstract works from the collection of the Museum contemporary Art in Buenos Aires, MACBA.

Opening the same day as the two exhibitions, but closing on 13 May, is the fifth edition of the Artisti in residenza #5: OPEN STUDIO during which the public can visit the studios of artists Guglielmo Castelli, Nemanja Cvijanović, Anna Franceschini and André Romão.
