City transport agency ATAC will upgrade its bus service to the Terme de Caracalla from 24 June to coincide with the start of the Teatro dellOperas outdoor summer season. The 160 (Piazza San Silvestro-Rufino/Montagnola), 628 (Piazza Maresciallo Giardino-Baronio), 671 (Arco di Travertino-Piazzale Nervi/Palazzo Sport) and 714 (Termini-Palazzo Sport) lines will run every 15 minutes from 19.30 to 21.00 on evenings that operas are scheduled. In addition, the 714 service will be extended until 01.00 for showings of La Vestale and Madama Butterfly, and until 01.30 for showings of Aida and Turandot. The extra bus service will run until the close of the season on 9 August, and the dates of the 22 Teatro dellOperas summer season performances are as follows:

La Vestale 24, 25, 27, 28, 30 June

Madama Butterfly 8, 9, 11, 12 July

Aida 18, 20, 21, 25 July; 2 and 4 August

Turandot 29 July; 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 9 August
