15-26 Feb. The S. Susanna English-language lending library in Rome is preparing for a bumper sale which will include a "large selection of children's books, non-fiction, classics (including poetry and literature) and of course lots of fiction,” according to library coordinator Tonia White, who added that the average book price will be 50 cent.

The sale takes place from 15-26 February during normal opening hours: Wed 15.00-18.00, Thurs 11.00-15.30, Fri 13.00-16.00, Sun 10.00-12.30.

Attached to the parish of the American Catholic Church in Rome, the library has provided a lending service to Rome’s English-speaking readers for over 60 years, and is operated with the assistance of volunteers. It is located on the second floor to the right of the Church of S. Susanna, and it houses over 20,000 titles.

Its categories include literature, art, religion, archaeology, history, travel, cookery and novels, as well as a children’s section containing many out-of-print classics.
