Rome exhibition of Barilari illustrations and paintings.

17 May-9 June. An exhibition of illustrations by Rome architect and artist Fabio Barilari takes place at the Teatro S. Genesio in Prati, as part of the Vitala Festival of cultural events, from 17 May until 9 June.

Entitled Time Off, this is the eighth solo show in Rome for Barilari who is known primarily for his accomplished illustrations of urban landscapes and whose work has featured on numerous Wanted in Rome covers in recent years.

In his latest exhibition, Barilari presents several new paintings and illustrations which further develop his research and interest for places and atmospheres. There is a particular focus on the emotional, mental and physical spaces of free time, which for Barilari is time dedicated to drawing and painting.

The exhibition opens on Friday 17 May, from 17.30-20.00. Admission is free to the show which can be visited in the afternoons (17.00-20.00), by appointment or during cultural events at Teatro S. Genesio.
