Fandango Jazz Festival.
1 June-29 July 2004. Organised by the La Palma Club, this initiative is steadily improving in quantity and quality to compete with the much more established jazz at Villa Celimontana (see above). Concerts take place outdoors in the clubs summer arena; important guests include Kenny Wheeler, Paolo Fresu, Scott Henderson, Terence Blanchard, Diane Shuur, Bill Frisell, Nana Vasconcelos, Uri Cane, McCoy Tyner, Lee Konitz and many others. A season ticket is available.
