Organised by the Fondazione Musica Per Roma in conjunction with Buenos Aires city authorities, this festival aims to make Rome an international capital of tango, second only to Buenos Aires itself. The programme contains the names of the best-known Argentinian tango dancers, the most famous tango orchestras and the most representative Argentinian singers and musicians of the moment. On the side there will be workshops, exhibitions and a Club de Tango, as well as an Argentinian restaurant and a milonga where everyone can dance.
