Festival Cinema.
3-28 April 2006. Its actually three cinema festivals in one at one of Romes trendiest new spaces: the old Palladium that has been renovated to host all sorts of multi-medial events. The first section of the festival is entitled Panafricana (3-9 April) dedicated to the best films both documentaries and fiction - recently produced in Africa. The programme includes works by Arab and sub-Saharian directors as well as films by emerging South African teams. The second section, the Dams Film Festival (11-13 April) highlights the potential of many students of arts disipilines from universities all over Italy. And finally, the section entitled Cortoons (26-28 April) presents a selection of animated short movies from Asia, Europe and America, with special attention for new digital technologies.
