12 June-18 July 2003. The first edition of a month-long contemporary dance festival which will be directed by a different artist every year. This year the director is Belgian choreographer Frdric Flamand. A fervent believer in an interdisciplinary approach to dance (plastic arts, architecture and video), Flamand explores the relation of the body to new technology. In recent years he has worked with architects Diller + Scofidio, Zaha Hadid and Jean Nouvel on the relationship between the dancers body and the structure space imposes upon it.
