This interesting event, organised by the Italian Geographical Society and Federculture, is dedicated to the art of travel literature in its various forms: books, films, photographs, drama and comics.

The seventh edition of the festival includes numerous encounters with authors, journalists, travellers and storytellers, with most of the festival events happening in Villa Celimontana’s Palazzetto Mattei and its gardens.

There is also an “anteprima pre-festival” from 15-24 September, with events taking place in various venues around the city, particularly in the suburbs, including guided tours of writers' houses, literary walks and a Dante marathon in city libraries.
