This cycle of readings by contemporary authors opens on 21 May 2003 with Doris Lessing, who will read from her autobiography. Two Americans, Jeffrey Eugenides and Jonathan Lethem, will read from their work on 23 May, and the Italian author Andrea Camilleri will read from his Commissario Montalbano on 27 May.
