Festival Musicale di Ravello.
27 June-22 Sept 2004. As work is temporarily halted on the construction of architect Oscar Niemeyers auditorium, the beautiful gardens of Villa Rufolo overlooking the Amalfi coast are again the magnificent setting for this annual event. The festival has just received injections of money from regional funds and a new foundation so it now includes cinema, dance and literature. The leitmotif of the programme is The Dream, but the traditional focus is still on Wagner, who spent creative days in these gardens.
